Families, dog owners and athletes are some of the many people who keep coming back to visit this camping site. Here you can accommodate in a cosy camping cabin, a self catering cabin or on a big camping plot in your caravan, RV or tent.
Camping Frösön is eco labeled, child and dog friendly and is also wheelchair accessible. The camping site is equipped with toilets, showers, nursing rooms, washing machines and tumble dryers. Here you will also find several bbq places and during the summer there is also a kiosk / boutique where you can buy freshly baked bread, a swedish fika or why not an ice cream?
Connected to the camping site there is several historical walking trails that gives you the opportunity to explore the history and the magnificent nature of Jämtland. Here you can also enjoy a round of mini golf, boules, a game of basketball or beach volleyball and for the youngest members of the family we also have a playground.
If you choose to stay on site during the days you will find the view of lake Storsjön very nice and relaxing. If you would rather want to spend your day exploring you will reach the city of Östersund and all its shopping and restaurants in just a few minutes. Close to the camping site you will also find Frösö golf course, Frösö zoo and Frösö tower with its magnificent view. Well worth a visit is the museum and historical park Jamtli.
During summer lake Storsjön can offer days at the beach. For those who want there is also a surfers area. During the winter it is very popular to go ice skating, when the ice is thick enough on the lake, or to visit the winter park.
